The Cusp marked its first birthday on February 1st with a euphoric celebration at The Crypt Gallery, Euston. Amidst the hedonism, there was an improvisation from Mandhira de Saram and Steve Beresford, in which they played everything including the bannisters; a screening of Singularity, an audio-visual installation from Kathy Hinde and Solveig Settemsdal; a tour de force from the singing cellist Matthew Sharp; and a Warhol-esque exhibition of composer portraits from the artist Margit van der Zwan.
